Xtreen Preteen Week!
If your child is in 4th-6th grade this is the place to be this summer! August 17-21 Lutherans together will be hosting a week dedicated to preteens. Join us every night that week from 6:30-7:45, at Christ Lutheran for worship, games, bible study and lots of fun. Come play pool, ping pong, Play Station, basketball, volleyball, and the new Nintendo Wii. This is going to be great time for fun, fellowship and learning. If you try anything new this summer this is it!

This is a no cost event, but concessions will be sold on sight.
Be sure to bring a friend!
Join us for the event of the summer! Each night will be filled with games, crafts, inflatables, carnival games, and relevant Bible messages and so much more. This is going to be an outrageous week of fun. Then on Friday night August 21, there will be a huge blow out with a BBQ and concert for the entire family.

Thrivent Builds
Come help the Kopets and Belavus families dream of owning a house come true. Lutheranstogether has reserved all the volunteer spots on Saturday, April 18th to work on the Thrivent Builds project. There are 24 slots in the AM and 24 slots in the PM reserved. The AM shift runs from 8:30 to Noon. The PM shift runs from 12:30 to 4 PM. You can sign up for either shift or for the whole day. You must register online at www.habitat-spokane.org Click on the volunteer tab and then the box titled “Volunteer Now”. Follow the instructions for a first time user. Click the Lutheranstogether and Lutheran boxes as you register. Also click the Thrivent Member box if you are a member. The slots will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by parent or legal guardian. You can bring your own tool belt and hand tools. Power tools are provided by Habitat along with tools if you don’t have them. You will need to fill out a Volunteer Application & Wavier. It can be found at www.habitat-spokane.org/files/
Lutheranstogether will provide the lunch for the volunteers on April 18th. If you are interested in volunteering or coordinating the lunch please contact Gary Gemar at gemars@gmail.com or at 509-209-7423.
